Prior to his return to Singapore, Aewin was a pastor in Belgium. He had regularly After his return in 1987, Aewin started working in the financial services sector, in particular the life insurance industry, driving business and manpower development and provided training to his agency. He quickly ascended to the rank of Senior Sales Manager and had won Top Sales Managers Award and was appointed the President of Million Dollar Club in 1989 and 1990. His agency had for 10 years consistently received Quality Business Award for writing quality business and the Million Dollar Club Award. Aewin was also a Council Member of Life Underwriters Association, heading the Chinese Education Development program in 1993. Aewin co-founded Professional Investment Advisory Services, one of Singapore's former largest licensed financial adviser firm, in 2001. He was a Director and headed the Compliance and Manpower Development Department and has a good track record with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Aewin is the co-founder and director of FP Consultants International Pte Ltd and Lifestyle Finance Pte Ltd since 2000 and 2001 respectively. In year 2000, Aewin completed the American Association for Psychological Type Accreditation Programmes and is a qualified MBTI consultant. More than 2,000 over students from various schools and institutions of higher learning have attended the numerous MBTI related programmes conducted by him.
