Jocelyn Lim FCCA (UK), CPA (Singapore), CFP (Malaysia), ChFC (USA), FChFP (Singapore), MSID, MBTI Accredited Counsellor Director of Lifestyle Finance Pte Ltd & FP Consultants International Pte Ltd
Jocelyn started her tax accountant career in 1985 and received her CPA training in one of the big 5. For 5 years after her ACCA graduation, she lectured for the Singapore Accountancy Academy in Financial Accounting and Singapore Taxation courses for CIMA, AATs, ATTs and continuing education tax programme for CPAs. In 1995, she expanded her career to life insurance and financial planning and became a qualified member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table Club, where only 5% of the industry is eligible to join. She was also the only person officially appointed by the management of an MNC life insurance company to serve the financial welfare of its distinguished Board of Directors. She had numerous speaking engagements in Risk Management and Financial Planning topics and is also a regular contributor to Her World and Smart Investor magazine on financial planning issues. Jocelyn is the co-founder and director of FP Consultants International Pte Ltd and Lifestyle Finance Pte Ltd since 2000 and 2001 respectively. She was also the founding chairperson of Singapore Women in Finance, an interest group under the SBPWA and also a member of the ACCA SME committee. She was a co-founder, director and chairman of the board of Professional Investment Advisory Services, one of Singapore’s former largest licensed financial adviser firm. In year 2000, Jocelyn completed the American Association for Psychological Type Accreditation Programmes and is a qualified MBTI consultant. More than 2,000 over students from various schools and institutions of higher learning have attended the numerous MBTI related programmes conducted by her.
